Week 12 2nd post: Less is more, More is less

Less is more, More is less
Meaning that the notion that simplicity and clarity lead to good design.

On a simple explanation:
A simple design= A good design
Every designer are searching for simple and yet good design, because a complicated design will make the design look bad.
Example:
If a designer apply all the principle and element of design into one art work, that will be very complicate compare to apply a few principle and element of design to create the best combination, and it will become a good design. Another phase to support "Less is more, more is less" is "Simple but not Simply", when you simply apply the element and principle of design, the artwork will be ruin. Keep it simple ans it will turn out to be a good design.

Week 12 1st post: Drawing

Drawing is a classic way of capturing scene, landscape, portrait of people and etc, by using pencil and paper as the platform. Drawing can be simple like cartoon, anime and etc, drawing also can be as realistic as taking a photograph but only in black and white. With just only pencil, artists can draw anything they want.

Week 11 2nd post: Digital painting

Other than painting using watercolour, oil on canvas, this is the new medium for painting, digital painting by using mostly photoshop as  a platform, artist will be painting on the computer instead on canvas. Digital painting can be paint in realistic style.

Week 11 1st post: Movie Poster

Movies, films and videos consider a new media to deliver message. Not every movies are good, some movies won the Oscar award but no one wanted to watch, because they are too abstract, they need some brains to move in order to understand the content of the movies. Okay let put the good and bad movie aside, both good and bad movie need a good advertisement in order to advertise the movie is coming up soon, therefore they create movie poster to transfer the message of the movie genre, story and etc.

Week 10 2nd post: Earrings

Earring... girls, women, as long as they female this is one of their favorite accessories. Nowadays,  even boy like too wear one sided earring. Earring is not only for girls, because of cultural, society changes, fashion is coming to life... girl and boy like fashion to stay up to date. Thus creative earrings are born.

Week 10 1st post: Creative T-shirt

In our daily life, the cloth that we wear the most is T-shirt, in the modern day people don't wear pyjamas, they wear t-shirt. Walking in the mall, we wear t-shirt.. almost every where we go we wear T-shirt. That why designer start to design creative t-shirt.

Week 9 2nd post: Creative toilet sign

Sign and symbol, both are very important thing in our life... they are like transferring messages through graphic form, reading take a longer time to receive the message, but picture or graphical symbol give out its message easily. The most often symbol we see in out daily life... toilet sign, the old version of toilet sign is just a stick man standing side by side with a stick woman.
